i always ask my friends if i look okay or if i look the same & i always worry about how i look.

i'm talking about my body & my face.
i should be focusing on school right now instead of my looks.
i always worry if i look okay esp. in front of this guy i should be over with by now [my crush].
ever since i liked him so much, i've been starting to get real self conscious.

plus, i always think i'm ugly & that i have a big head & stuff.
i'm also self conscious because 3 ppl said i look ugly without makeup on. ahhhh

help! i have more to this prob but i don't feel like writting em all down.

When you find you like someone, don't try to hide your true appearance or you are making your crush fall in love with a facade.

Don't worry about how you look, just know you are beautiful and people should love you just how you are.

Those three people who told you that you don't look good without make up on are shallow bastards.

And there's nothing wrong with having a big head- heck, you have a better chance of knocking someone out with head butts!

Remember, you are beautiful no matter what anybody says.

    1. Stop wearing makeup. Let people get used to your real face. After a while, they'll accept it. If you put makeup on, then show the real face, there is a visual shock.

    2. You are self conscious with this guy because you are afraid of being rejected by him. So start out this way, think that he won't like you but you can still like him. Relax. If he likes you for who you are and your real face, great! If not, it will never work out anyway. How long can you keep up this self conscious thing anyway? This way, you relax and let nature takes its course.

    3. If you think you are ugly, the world thinks you are ugly!!! Start taking good care of your skin (not make up), eat well, exercise and relax. Then your beauty can show up on your face. If you are nervous, people naturally thinks there is something wrong with you!

The main thing is don't worry if the guy likes you back. Be natural. If he likes you, it's a bonus. If not, no big deal!

I'm sure you're a beautiful girl. Besides, inner beauty is much more important anyway. Don't do that to yourself. I'm sure that you look fine. Besides, if someone doesn't like you because they don't like the way that you look then they are not worth being around! If you are a good person and willing to love someone for who they are and not what they look like then you ARE a beautiful person. Don't let everyone else get you down. Your beautiful, loving, caring individual and you know it That's all that matters! Be true to yourself and life will turn itself around, you'll see. So take care of yourself, ok! You'll do just fine.

It is important to address what's troubling you. You have done this by posting on this forum so you are one step ahead.

If you find that it is an issue that is continually occuring in your life and you are having trouble to reclaim yourself back from it and that it is negatively affecting other areas of your life, one possible road is to seek the support of your school councilor or someone who can assist you with how you feel.
